I think you would really enjoy Cat Power's music, if you haven't already heard it. My favorite song is 'Sea of Love' because it's sounds like a lullaby. Her voice is really unique and nice to listen to. All of her songs off her album 'The Covers Record' are awesome. Her voice brings a new tone to the songs.
I have bought tickets to her shows 3 times now, but she didn't play the first two times because of stage fright. I still love her voice.
