Trojan Live was...... interesting.
I think there were some people who thought they were WAY better than I thought they were. But hey, good for them for having the balls to get on a stage in front of a bunch of high schoolers. I know I wouldn't.
One of the people who I thought did the best was the choir girl Rosie, I think that is her name. She was in choir last year with my brother and he says she's really good and nice. I thought she was awesome, even though her band wasn't as on point as she was.
Olivia and Adrien were AWESOME. omg, im so proud of them. Since Olivia and Adrien are my step siblings I would sometimes hear them singing, but it was muffled. When I saw them on stage my jaw dropped. Their harmonies were perfect and Olivia did so well! I didn't realize she could sing that well!
Also, I know you may be shocked, I thought Connor's band was really good. They aren't my favorite flavor of music, but they had their shit together and sounded like a professional band. Kudos to you my friend.
So Trojan live had some other great parts. The kids running on stage and trying to do some kind of mosh pit will definitely be a highlight remembered by many staff members and students. But one serious moment I will remember was everyone clapping and cheering on the girl who couldn't find the right chords. I'm glad she stayed on stage and didn't just give up, i'm also surprised at our schools support. I don't know if everyone was feeling guilty after the whole Yik-Yak ordeal or what, but I was really proud of us for not just sitting in awkward silence or laughing when she messed up.
